ROLE
The holder of this position is responsible for all activities inherent to security systems installation and maintenance. He goes to the customer’s (residential, commercial, institutional or industrial) location and delivers quality work to the client’s satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install security systems;
- Repair and maintenance of systems;
- Inform customers of problems and work to be done;
- Program components and activation of system;
- Verify systems and components; conduct tests with central and designated authorities;
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting;
- Provide customers with proper info and instructions for their security system;
- Collect work related info (work sheet, work records, etc.) and diligently complete documents.

Fire inspection technician (Longueuil)
ROLE
The holder of this position is responsible for the fire prevention of commercial and residential buildings. He makes sure that all fire safety standards are observed and that all equipment is functional and in order.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct fire alarm system inspections (CAN/ULC S-537 & 536)
- Express opinion regarding recommendations, remarks, and capacity of fire alarm systems based on laws and regulations
- Fully comprehend the various building and municipal codes as well as updates
- Produce inspection reports
- Replace defective parts when performing inspection
- Following inspection, assist representatives during system upgrades
COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Credentials and experience: (asset)
- 1 - 2 years relevant experience in a similar position
- Fire alarm system technician certification (ACAI/CFAA)
- Basic technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
- Understanding of the National Building Code, National Fire Code, ULC and updates
- Attestation of collegial studies in fire prevention

ROLE
The holder of this position serves as primary contact and represents the company with residential and commercial customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Elaborate strategies and action plans to increase business development;
- Actively promote our products and services to potential and actual clients;
- Recognize business opportunities and use various strategies in order to recommend appropriate product or service;
- Identify customers’ needs and give relevant info regarding products and services they should acquire to meet their expectations;
- Demonstrate our alarm systems and other security products;
- Provide information regarding the price of our products, services and packages we offer;
- Negotiate service agreements;
- Reassure customers regarding their choice of a security system and answer any question they may have;
- Using appropriate software, draw up proposals according to company’s standards and ensure a follow-up with customers;
- Receive complaints and solve problems;
- Solicit, ensure the follow-up, supply info and plan or confirm an appointment with clients by phone or email;
